Yeah...my finger was wavering like a dowsing rod too! Great it went to someone on the forum though. What plans do you have for her ?

I'll get it home and actually see what I've bought - photos and description were a little thin so it might turn out to be a right dog you never know.

My lad who has a Riva Estate fancies one - so maybe he'll sell his wagon and use it, maybe It will become my daily driver?

So no firm plans yet but it will be charming and I'm sure and I won't be burying it in a muddy hole as that really does destroy cars and I'm hoping its too nice for that.

Be nice to see some pics once you get her home. The bodywork looks great, and no reason to suspect the engine will be any different, (she was running when they took the pics). Couldn't quite see anything of the interior, but at £400 and with 17,000 on the clock, what a start. Even if you have to get the wallet out!. Are you going to take the sledge off the roof once Winter's over :D

I've actually got to get it first - seller communication is a bit thin at the moment....

sledge will be the first item to lose, followed by a good clean

I'll send a couple of pics once its home

If its any good maybe nice Riva for sale - 1988, 60k miles 1500 - whats it worth?

collected and now mine!

all solid and rot free, rattly engine - are the tappet hydraulic as that would explain the noise, on original tyres so confirms low mileage, insides a dog kennel but nothing a good hover etc wont cure.

So I'm quite chuffed - just need to finish another project and then this is the front of the que

So I'll no doubt be hounding certain people for parts in a few weeks !!!!
