Changed the L.H. engine mount on the Bronco.

A 30-minute two-person job that took 2 1/2 hours doing it all by myself...

Completely dismantled, de-wired and reassembled my workstation.

I dislike cables trailing everywhere, so everything has been re-bunched together. The only ones which are loose are things which regularly need to be plugged into other things, hence need to move. See also, headphones and the black wire under the desk is the RF in lead for the monitor for when the Spectrum comes out or I'm testing a VCR without a Scart output for someone.

Yes, I do curse myself for it every time I come to move a piece of equipment too. Though that happens very rarely! I'm a creature of habit who doesn't like changing things generally...so stuff tends to stay where it is until I have a good reason to shift it!

Yes, all the stuff on top of the speakers IS held in place, in most cases by blu-tack.

Okay, I've been asked some slightly strange questions in the past...but that was a first.

The tubular glass thing on top of the left hand speaker is actually a Galileo thermometer. The floats are usually filled with coloured liquid, they're clear in this one as it's intended to glow in the dark - which it does for about ten seconds.

...And I thought *my* mind spent too much time in the gutter...

John,

Sounds like a similar experience to what my flatmate encountered with his Jag last weekend! A casual poke at a bit of peeling underseal ended up needing three plates and several hours of work to repair!

One of my missions for the weekend is to treat the surface rust on the underside of the floor on the 306 - fingers crossed I don't end up poking any holes in it...

I was kinda expecting it and boy it didn't disappoint!

Now I need to get the rest of the chassis treated and sprayed.

Spent hour and half messing about with points and condensers  folowed by 10 minutes fitting new HT cables (which are far to long  ), proceded to spend half hour bypassing the coolant flow pipe to my carb as the water jacket is leaking  and finaly, spent 10 minutes cleaning my sisters massive alloys on her Nissen x trail (should have bought a Niva :P ) so that makes my good deed for today :D

THE END.
