Always loved that sound! In Dominica, with corrugated sheeting roofs and only hardboard ceilings, the drumming in the rainy season would put me to sleep in minutes! :D

Realised why I try to avoid "tidying up" whenever possible.

Last weekend, I removed a whole load of stuff from the Riva - including probably £150 or so worth of automotive cleaning products if you put them together (several years worth of accumulated stuff!), bundled them into a couple of bags.

...And now can't for the life of me find the bags! I don't *think* I stuck them in the boot of the Peugeot last weekend hence would have left them in Aberdeen...but can't find them here anywhere!

Hrrmph...Should have just left them all lined up in the boot of the Riva!

...am amazed how an idea can become reality. A company that produces commercial videos posted a question at our forum about three white Nivas for a weekend movie job in Stockholm. None of the dealers had shown any interest, but three members came to the rescue (the plan B was VW Golf!). All expenses were covered for them, all they had to do was to drive their Nivas to Stockholm.

This morning the first scenes were done:

I'll get back with more info.. and of course the final result.

Collected some timber for the house reroof job.
Washed the Sunday drive 4x4.
Attempted to clean the garage but just doodled about shifting stuff from one corner to the next till I worked my way around to where I started from.Thats when I closed the garage door and had a beer!

Picked up a knackered boat trailer and removed the good parts. hubs, suspension, wheels and hand winch. The rest of the trailer was held together with rust.

Went to a local food produce show and missed out on buying some Buffalo meat

Took the inlaws out for a meal and managed to get a free Talisker rocking glass. Normally you need to buy 4 shots before you get a free glass.
