Has anyone tried the GU10 LED bulbs? Im thinking of some for the kitchen to replace the standard 6 x 35w ones currently installed.

Household LED's have a little way to go yet (At least over here) before they will even come close to how well the CFL Bulbs work and cost. LED lighting takes a little bit of getting used to. When i bought this place i swapped out all the 60w Incandescent bulbs with 7w CFL's
Was a good idea as now the kids can reach the switches and usually leave the lights on.

I tried LED's on my niva, very intense light directly behind them, but narrow beam, couldn't see them from any more than a 15-20 degree angle off to sides
