Mainly tidied up some cupboards/shelves/under the desk and binned some rubbish and put some stuff onto Freecycle.

Today I will be mostly trying to persude my wife to phone 2 garages to see if they're open so I can go round and have a look at these 2:
http://www.hasznaltauto.hu/auto/lada/ni ... al-3560827
This one's got got 2 year's mot and is about £1200
http://www.hasznaltauto.hu/auto/lada/ni ... va-3562649
This one's also got 2 year's mot, is just over £1300 but has the lpg conversion with a fesh cerificate for the tank.
The interiors are different in the 2 cars although they're a similar age. Has someone upgraded the dash and door cards in the 2nd car? I thought these were from a much newer model :?

In true Hungarian style both garages were closed today so couldn't view either car. Thanks for the closer observations of the 2nd photos, I'll ask for some "actual" photos of the interior. My wife spoke to the garage and they said that the car was in excellent condition....but they are the ones that are selling it

Well, I spent most of today cleaning up an old set of alloy wheels I had in the shed since I sold my last motor. I hope to sell them in the next few weeks to raise some cash, so I spent ages cleaning and polishing them, and to be honest I'm delighted with how well they turned out....

Image

Then I spent most of this evening formatting my 7" netbook and putting a clean install of Windows7 on it. I eventually got it up and running after some driver related hardship....

All in all, it has been quite a productive day. :D

Windows 7 on a 700 Series Eee? Didn't even think that was possible! Doesn't the poor little Celeron struggle a bit with that? Have Ubuntu on mine and can't see me changing that. Fantastic little machines though.

As for giving blood, we get pestered a lot by notices on the intranet, blanket emails, noticed plastered all over every flat surface in the building every six months or so when they take over the training room for a day for the drop in session here.

Probably would give to be honest, despite my phobia of needles (what better way to get over it?) - however they won't take my blood...so the notices get a bit annoying after a while to be honest.

Today I mostly: Banged my head against the desk at work when I discovered than an external company have backtracked on plans for revisions of their services which I've been working on updating stuff for since mid December. Month and a bit right down the toilet. Grrrr...
