Fitted another bracket to the roll cage - this time to hold my spare rear driveshaft.

Went for a drive in the boondocks, looking for the rockiest bits to again test the locker. I'd forgotten how skittish an open diff Niva can be! Deliberately going halfway without, then with, the locker in use proved the point. Lot more controlable and smoother with!
Everyone I met was friendly!!!! Walkers, horse riders and 4x4 drivers - an enjoyable day!
Only minus point was a knocking noise that took about four hours to find. From fearing that it was something broken or loose, it turned out to be the handle of the shovel knocking against a plastic tub! After sorting that, peace and quiet reigned. Not a sound from the ground anchor or its mounting, nor from the drive shaft or its mounting. Happy with that!
Due to wash it in the next few days.

Spent from about 8AM through to 16:00-17:00 ish hiding from the evil, evil daylight thanks to having a migraine. That's twice in the last two months.

Getting tired of this happening now!

...Not least because it throws my sleep patterns out for about a week afterwards too!

Replaced the EGR valve with a bypass kit. Dinitrolled inside some box section on the rear door and rewired a relay.
Tonight is BBQ time :-)

Picked up the garden chairs, bits of slate, guttering and other assorted bits of house that the first really strong winds of the year managed to detach from the house last night. Branch came down off one of the trees as well - managed to miss both my parents Peugeot 207 and my Riva by about an inch on either side, landing in between the two of them - I count myself lucky!

Foamed with a Snow Foam (its a foaming tfr)

Washed with 2 bucket method using dodo supernatural and zymol sponge.

Dried with Blue Plush Drying Towel.

Werkstat Prime is a paint cleaner/sealant. Cleans and protects paint work.

The wheels will be coming off to clean behind them properly.

Oh and the clay used was espuma clay, autoglym quick detailer for the lube.

Cars is very shiny now. Its for sale so might do a swirl removal on it as well.
