Today I mostly .....
Took the 107 up to the car wash AGAIN thanks to our ever-increasing local seagull population. That's the third time in four days it's been washed.
...Funnily enough, the Cappuccino's only been hit once this week, in comparison to the every-panel-inclusive strikes that the 107 has sustained. I reckon it's because the 107 is black!
Then applied two coats of wax to the Cappuccino, tomorrow will be largely spent cleaning the interior, engine bay, boot, door closures and everywhere else I can think of in preparation for its attendance of my local classic car show on Sunday.
...it's still incredibly scruffy...but I can at least show I've put some effort in!

Yesterday i spent the day and my mums. 4 new fence panels, two tip runs, and then started building a metal yardmaster shed. Its a giant mechano set.
Did 95% of the roof, and then discovered that the supports that hold the roof square had been adjusted to long so they pushed the gable out.. Had to redo those and replace the roof panels.
Just got the sides to do now. Thank goodness for the electric screw driver.
This morning, im feeling it....

Today went for a perambulation in the boondocks. Up the Bady, down the V Gulley, along Splashy Lane (very dry!), and over White Stones. A squeaking from the front left turned into a 'crack' noise followed by rattling. Knew I'd heard it before and, sure enough, the front shock absorber mounting had broken! This time it was the upper one! Took it off completely then headed home (I was doing that anyway) and welded it all up when I arrived.
Don't know what I'd do without a MIG welder - it's saved me thousands over the years!!
